Diving with Charley at 0500 is a collection of short stories as told by the author of his love for diving. Pioneer and founding member of the SCUBA diving industry, Charley shares his adventures from first learning of the sport, to starting a local diving club, to becoming a commercial diver, and finally to successfully starting and running Sea Quest, a manufacturing and distribution business in the industry. This second edition, published in 2023, includes an Epilogue and Timeline providing more information chronicling Sea Quest’s history.

Note: Diving with Charley at 0500 is available on my website because Charley was my father. During the last year of his life, he asked me if I would help him write his book, which I so enjoyed. He recorded the stories on a cassette tape player, and I transcribed them. We reviewed the text and came up with the titles and selected the photos. After he passed, I compiled them into this book and published it. The Forward and Epilogue and Timeline are written by me.
